The Full Experience
Take a boat out into Weligama Bay for a stimulating time deep sea fishing in the ocean.
This deep sea fishing experience is great if you enjoy fishing or drifting on the ocean. Choose between the half-day and full-day experience, both of which begin at 6 a.m. Embark on the voyage of your choice, aided by an experienced crew and jet into Weligama bay. Fish such as GT, (Giant Trevally/Jack Trevally) Wahoo, Spanish Mackerel, Yellowfin tuna, Sailfish, Grouper, Snapper and Mahi Mahi are common in Sri Lankan coastal regions, while the Swordfish and Marlins are found but rather rare. The experience advocates responsible fishing and conservation, so you can take pictures with your catch and put them back in the sea. A light breakfast will be provided and you can pick from a choice of fruit or drinks during the course of the day.
The probability of making a catch depends on factors such as fishing skills, sea conditions and of course, a little bit of luck. However, the day would be spent winding down and slowly enabling you and your family to enjoy an exciting experience.
